Family Fun Fair 2016
Family Fun Fair was like the holiday bazaar to the power of a marathon. Not only were there more people (a lot a lot more people), but I also got an outdoor booth, which meant that I was melting under the heat.
On a more positive note, the booth was much more decorative this time (thank you mom <3). I personally really liked the photo frames and the flowers, which fit really nicely with the nostalgic classy feeling of Forgotten Voices. The only thing that stayed the same since the holiday bazaar is probably my trademark fundraising event overalls.
This time, I was purely focused on the sharing of the books. At the start of the day, I had 50 books each of the first and second FV books. At the end of the day, though, I had over Rp. 6 million. I'll be using the money to purchase various things for Bina Bhakti, such as: meals (during visitation), daily necessities (elderly body powder, aromatic oils) as well as better machinery (they don't have a water dispenser in the patio).
Thank you to all who have stopped by the Forgotten Voices booth and even more to those who grabbed a copy of the books.
Be sure to keep an eye out for any announcements of future events!
